Highlights:
- POWDER implements srsRAN 5G stack as additional open source software option running in a controlled indoor lab.
- Columbia University’s “The Digital Twin of New York, Smart City project” has been named a winner in IDC Government Insight’s sixth annual Smart Cities North America Awards in the transportation category. The project incorporates domain knowledge of traffic congestion with real-world data collected at COSMOS.
- AERPAW has announced a new student drone competition combining the use of autonomous navigation, wireless communication, and wireless sensing capabilities in the AERPAW platform.
- The Ericsson construction team is back in Ames during the month of April to complete the installation and testing of the Ericsson mid-band and mmWave radios at the four ARA Phase-1 sites.
